Vista taskbar problem

Hi i have a Fujistu Siemens Amilo laptop. I had a hi-grade and on that it had the mousepad icon in the taskbar but on this fujistu it doesnt seem to have it i thought all laptops had the mouse icon in the taskbar plz help :)

What exactly is your problem? What is a hi-grade?

Not all laptops have the MP icon in the taskbar. You can get into the setting by going into control panel, mouse.

hi thanks for the reply , the hi-grade was a diffrent laptop i had :)

Is there anyway i could get the MP icon into the taskbar as i liked it there before

Erm ive looked through the settings under mouse there doesnt seem to be anything about a icon :S

The problem is where my old laptop had the MP icon i pressumed that all laptops had them and it was annoying me because i liked the icon there.

Is this icon currently on your desktop and do you currently have the Quick Launch toolbar enabled? Follow the instructions in this Tutorial to enable this toolbar and to add a shortcut to it: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/72439-quick-launch.html

Dwarf, wouldnt the icon appear in the tray not the quick launch?

@Aaron: If it is not there, I don't think you can put it there...
