looking at building

was wondering if anybody could give me any recommendations on this setup before we look at purchasing it, my goal is to not go to far over AU $1,200 as that is all my parents want to spend.

can you not find this CPU where you are..??, this would be better, if you can get it around the same price or cheaper...

for 1280x1024 the 9800GT is plenty powerful enough, but if you can find one of these for cheaper than the 9800 grab it... 9800GTX+.......


what PSU do you have..?? is it the generic one delivered with the case..??

Hey thnx for the reply i'll have a look at that cpu and g/c and currently it is the one i got with it but i guess ill have to get a new one as it doesnt have the connector for the g/c this is the site im guna buy from as it is in brizzie not too far from me Online Computer Store - Umart online® Your one stop Computer Shop for computer parts,notebook and new system
ouch that cpu is 459 there!!! ouch!
and that G/c that u posted is only 512mb i would like to go to 1gb as it is more future proof

GRRR..... H/W looks like its nearly as expensive as our little island (UK)


the Q8200 is a super performer, it just has less cache than the 9550, still a great chip.

i checked that site..... this would serve your needs.....seasonic 500w
these are the company that make the super corsair PSUs....
