Text cutt off in options windows / dialog boxes etc

Hill all, recently I've just been noticing a lot of text being cutt off at the end, or even cutt of vertically when it goes to a second line. I've posted about this on a couple other forums but had no success fixing it and my google searches aint produced much either.

I thought this was just winamp messing up at first but then i noticed it in itunes as well and now i keep seeing it everywhere, in some webpages and a few other apps.

A while back i had some problems with a load of fonts being deleted somehow so that vista started using some other ones instead. in the end i fixed this by copying all the missing fonts from my vista laptop over to my desktop. Dunno if this is what has caused my current prob but might have something to do with it.

Any ideas how to sort this out? Its driving me crazy and i have no idea how to fix it.

I noticed this kind of thing before having SP1 installed. Don't know if that's a possibility or not. Could have just been in my case.

Have you installed a custom theme or done some work on your "personalization"? Looks like the type size or style is just too big or not condensed enough for the space in the dialogs. Do you have your font size set at 96 dpi (standard) or 120 (large)? --ch
