Install Disc Required at Each Start. Help!!!

All was well for a year and then all of a sudden, with no new soft/hardware changes, at each system start I get this from Windows Boot Manager:

file:\windows\system\32\drivers\tepip\sys
status: oxc00000e9
info: windows failed to load because a critical system driver is missing or corrupt.

Vista Home Premium installation disk is required every time now to start the system. I have Auto Update.

Does anyone know what is going on? Thanks!!!!

Note: This is the stats of my main computer.
i believe the error code and the file path is wrong.
it may be "C:\Windows\system32\drivers\tcpip.sys"
post the error code once again.

Does it perform any action when you boot the computer with vista dvd?

Get into system recovery options and perform startup repair atleast 5 times and let me know the status
