Hi. In a nutshell, my Vista x64 is laggy. It's very annoying. First, here are my machine specs:

EVGA 790i(E180) & 2 x 9800 GTX(N781),
Q9300,
GSKILL 4GB DDR3 1333,
Corsair 750TX,
SB X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro,
Samsung Spinpoint 500GB,
2 x Lite-On DVD Burners,
2 x Acer 22" Wide Screens
CM Cosmos,
MS X5 & X6,
BIX III Extreme,
Laing D5,
Swiftech Apogee GTZ & Obsidian,
BitsPower N790NS & N79DP & Bay Res

I installed all the updates Vista needed. I installed all the latest drivers for my hardware. Everything is running just fine. It's just that Vista x64 is very laggy. It seems that even when I do the simplest of things it seems to take a bit longer then I expected. Opening up the control panel or something like that. the biggest annoyance is dragging windows. The windows are smearing.

I went ahead and did this:
Super Tweaks for Windows Vista by Black Viper

It really helped but I'm really left with nothing now. Ugly desktop thats looks like Win95 or something. I can deal with it because atleast I have the performance.

I saw the thread, "Post Your Desktops" and I was thinking,... am I the only with this problem? I mean you guys are rockin some nice themes and here I have nothing really.

So does anyone have any idea's as to what might be going on?

Thanks. OH,... and whats up with the user name portion of the signup here? No periods or underscoes?!?! I saw a few names here with underscores. It wouldnt let me but it let me have a space instead?!?!? Thats weird.
