Good morning.

My windows desktop has view->medium icons.

As the subject says, randomly the desktop shrinks the icons to view->classic icons.....

.... pressing refresh (F5) brings the icons back to medium.....

Why is that?

Hello Blutarsky, and welcome to Vista Forums.

Is there something in common that you are doing or running when this happens?

You might try uninstalling and reinstalling your video drivers to see if that may help, or update them if there is a newer version available.

If none of the above helps any, then you could also do a System Restore using a restore point dated before you had this problem to see if it can fix this for you.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Hello Blutarsky, and welcome to Vista Forums.

Hi there Brink :D

Is there something in common that you are doing or running when this happens?

Opera & Outlook 2003 always running....

You might try uninstalling and reinstalling your video drivers to see if that may help, or update them if there is a newer version available.

Could have a try...

If none of the above helps any, then you could also do a System Restore using a restore point dated before you had this problem to see if it can fix this for you.

It's quite a long time this is happening....
