I am having a problem with Vista and think I need to reload it. Is there anyway to reload it without having to reload all of my other programs. I have tried the repair from the Install disk and it just does the start up pgms. The errors I am getting are with .net framework and when downloading Vista updates (Windows Installer). Thanks for any help. I have reformated at least 5 times in the past month and I don't want to do it again if I can keep from it. Thanks, Littlemight

Do you Use Vista's backup utility to create regular Data file backups?, or did you Image your entire computer with a free program such as Paragon Drive Backup?
If so, load the image, and restore the User Data files off the backup media.

You can also try an "upgrade" repair-this will allow you to repair your Vista installation and keep all of your personal user account files, settings, and programs. You will be performing a Upgrade Install from within your currently running Vista.

If you do the upgrade repair consider using Vista's File backup Utility and imaging your hard drive for Recovery in the future.
