| Vista Home Premium 32bit | My doucments display fields This may have been covered somewhere, but I couldn't figure what to search on. This is happening on two different Vista machines. If I open "My Documents", details view, the folders are listed "normally" showing date modified, size, etc. But, if I open a sub-folder, the contents are displayed as pictures, Name, Date Taken, Tag, etc. Then, if I open another sub-folder, the contents are listed as music with fields, name, artist, album, etc. Really weird. IF, I navigate to the folders under My Computer, they display normally and all is good. I have TONS of documents, so I have them sorted by year. 2004, 2005, 2006, yadda, yadda, yadda. Then by topic or whatever underneath. I typically list them by date so that my most recent files are grouped together, but now listing by date isn't an option and it's tough to find anything. I've tried My Documents, Properties, Customize, Template, Documents, Apply to sub-folders. Did no good. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Fog |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: My doucments display fields Yes to both. The problem shows itself in detail view. And yes, I set the properties for My Documents, then opened my documents (fine) then opened folder 2009 (listed as pictures), then opened folders Downloads (listed as music). Works fine if I enter under My Computer |
