File Size Not Showing

Can someone help me please. I want to view the file size in a tooltip but it won't show. I tried checking the box in the folder options but it only will show the type. Thanks.

Hello Defiant91,

You might see if doing Method Two instead in this tutorial will allow it to work for you afterwards.

Defiant,

Check in Folder Options to see if you also have Display file size information in folder tips checked as well.

It is checked, but it still only shows File Type.

Re: File Size Not Showing

Defiant,

You might see if running a sfc /scannow command can help. If not, and it had worked for you before, then see if doing a System Restore using a restore point dated when it did (if not to long ago) can fix it for you.

Re: File Size Not Showing

I ran the scan to with no success. And there is no system restore that has it working.

Re: File Size Not Showing

Well, other than a clean reinstall, you can do a Repair install that should fix it for you.

Re: File Size Not Showing

I don't think that this problem is worthy of a clean install. But thanks anyway.
