AVI Black Thumbnail Icon

Hi to everybody. Is my first post and i have a problem with avi file icon. I am from Cyprus and my english its not very good.
Some of my avi files show a picture and some others show a black icon. I did not have this problem before. Before all my avi files show a picture. I have K-Lite Mega Codec Pack (new version). I try Vista Codec but i can solve it.
Please help me.

Don't worry - my English also is not beatiful

But to bussiness..

I understand changing codecks no help thus you found this thread..
Try to clear thubnails cache Clearing the Windows Vista thumbnails cache

I try this, my friend Flavius but my problem its not fixed. Thank you very much.

Try manually to clear

Navigate to folder

C:\Users\<your account>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer

and there you'll find 6 *.db files ->remove them + restart.

If also no help try Thubnailer Thumbnailer. Thumbnails of your video right from Windows Media Player.

this is unfortunately shareware but as far I know Explorer thubnails function is not limited

I found the 6 db files but when i try to remove them it told me.....

You need permission to perform this action

It have three buttons below try Again - Skip - Cancel

and i cant delete them

Thats fix it. Thank you Flavious. I delete the db files and after the restart the problem is gone.
