| Vista Home Premium (SP1) | Upgrading Graphics Card in Dell Inspiron 530 I have a Dell Inspiron 530 with a Dell 0FM586 motherboard, Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz, 3MB memory. I'm currently using the integrated graphics, but I'd like to upgrade to the Nvidia XFX GeForce 9600 GSO video card. So, I have two questions:
Any light that anyone can shed on my concerns would be most greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help! ![]() Dave |

As long as your board has a PCI exp 16 slot it will support the GPU. 550w PSU is quite sufficient for one 9600. Don't know much about if Rocketfish is a reliable brand though.
