Intel E8400

Hello guys
hope u all doing good. Guys i've intel e8400 3.0ghz but it is running only 2ghz. is that normal???

My e8400 steps down to 2.0 GHz as well when it isn't doing anything too taxing. So yes, it is quite normal. Why don't you try playing a CPU intensive game, and while the game is still running, run CPU-Z as well.... it will then probably show 3 GHz. Also, you can check what your BIOS says on startup....it will probably say 3.0 as well.....
