| Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Intel E8400 Hello guys hope u all doing good. Guys i've intel e8400 3.0ghz but it is running only 2ghz. is that normal??? |

| Vista Home Premium 64bit | Re: Intel E8400 My e8400 steps down to 2.0 GHz as well when it isn't doing anything too taxing. So yes, it is quite normal. Why don't you try playing a CPU intensive game, and while the game is still running, run CPU-Z as well.... it will then probably show 3 GHz. Also, you can check what your BIOS says on startup....it will probably say 3.0 as well..... |
