Ok Im having Problems.. The svchost seems to be spiking my physical memory at startup to around 80%.. and it only drops to around 75%
And i also know that my computer cannot run to about 93-98% on memory because i suspect Faulty ram from previous problems of mine.( I will be replacing it with 4gb in 1to 2 weeks)
Also after disabling Pc tools threatfire & Pc tools firewall i seem to be getting alot of processes which are also playing with my phiscal memory %.

b4 i uninstalled The pc tools programs there was only 2-3 svchosts.exe now there are about 13 of them..
Now im asking you guys to help me know which ones are safe to terminate.

Svchost.exe is a process on your computer that hosts, or contains, other individual services that Windows uses to perform various functions. For example, Windows Defender uses a service that is hosted by a svchost.exe process.
There can be multiple instances of svchost.exe running on your computer, with each instance containing different services. One instance of svchost.exe might host a single service for a program, and another instance might host several services related to Windows. You can use Task Manager to view which services are running under each instance of svchost.exe.

Perhaps you should disable unnecessary startup programs, and run a antivirus/antimalware scan rather than deleting svchost.exe processes.

Threatfire (formerly CyberHawk) is an unknown, untested antimalware program that has been known to be an ineffective antivirus/antimalware product.
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=184520

ThreatFire is a free behavior-based anti-virus program from the folks at PC Tools that can be added as an additional layer to systems that are already running a signature-based anti-virus program.
I would not recommend running it on its own and I would not recommend adding it to a computer that is already infected or is on a dial-up connection or that’s experiencing performance issues. ThreatFire’s value comes from proactive protection against future threats, not current infections.

Hi rdc1337, I don't see any discrepancy on the specs; but I have never use kingston value rams. Hope the quality holds up.

No. it is not compatible. Your system will not support 4GB kit @800Mhz.
Pavilion a6220a will only support 2GB (2x1GB) of DDR2-PC2-5300 (667MHz-but your system will only run it @ PC2-4200 speed of 533Mhz)

I suggest you re-install Vista if Avira has detected 10 trojan infections. You system is comprimised, and most likely Windows is corrupted- and this may be the cause of your problems. backup your User Data prior to a destructive reformat/re-install .

Vista was preinstalled in this computer.. so i do not know how to reinstall this vista..

You either have HP recovery disks, or you have a recovery Partition.

Simply put the disk in, restart computer, and hit "any key to boot from disk" when you see this prompt, and following the install instructions. When you get to the point where it asks you "where to install" delete the partition Windows is currently installed on, and reinstall.

Recovery partition is similiar, This will re-install Vista to the factory image (when you bought it). Here is the walkthrough: (be sure to backup your User data)
Turn off, then turn on the computer and immediately press the F11 key repeatedly , about once every second, until Recovery Manager opens.

No you do not need brand specific Memory-
This is all you need:
Desktop 1GB DDR2 PC2-5300 (buy two), or If possible, Look for dual channel PC2-5300 desktop Memory 2GB (2x1GB)
