Solved need help, no signal to monitor at startup

When I shut down my computer I accidently must have selected lock or logout, now when I turn on computer there is no signal to monitor. This happened once before but don't remember what I pressed to get it back. I need help:(

Welcome to the vista forum.

Did you try unplug the power cable from Tower and hold the power button for 2-3 mins and try turn on the computer ???

if not, try it and let us know. it may be due to static power.

Thanks for the response. I was turning computer on and off and did not correct problem but when I unplugged power cable or short time then turned back on monitor was displaying for computer that had been locked. How can I prevent this from happening in future? Is there a setting?

There are some steps to Avoid Static Damage to Your PC.

Some of them are:
Check your AC wiring
Use a wrist strap
Use additional antistatic components
