Solved Help- Print job won't delete

:sa: I have a print job at the top of a list of others that is frozen. It's an 11 page document that says it is a 21 page. I have tried to delete it to no avail and since have deleted the other jobs and restarted the computer only to have it reprint the first half, as far as it got before, then stopped. Where else can I go in the computer to delete this. I have alot of work yet to do and would prefer to not have to uninstal and reinstal the printer.

Thanks guys and gals,
Dean

PS I had set the printer HPOfficejet 6480 to print both sides which may be why it printed only half the pages? No matter the issue I believe is in the software.

I went and restarted the computer again and then hustled to the printers page and deleted all jobs before it could start printing. Seems to have worked. But I learned about Spools, which I had never heard of before...

Hi GratefulDean,

This is for your future reference. if you want to delete a print job with out restarting the computer, type services in start-search > restart "print spooler" service. you are done.

Start new job :)

hope this helps.
