Hi,
Tried that little program in the tutorial section to remove the "ugly' arrows from my desktop shortcuts and it failed. See attached Snipit. There used to be a program I used in Win XP that did the same thing called Tweak UI. Wonder if they have one for Vista 64? I really don't want to go fooling around in regedit as I am definitely a newbie with Vista. Any assistance greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Hello,
I used the little program as directed and when I 'logged out' that's when I got the error message that I posted. My Vista x64 didn't like something. thanks anyway.
Hi all,
problem solved used the Ultimate Windows Tweaker v1.50 compatible with Vista 32 and 64. It's just like the old Tweak UI
Found it here Ultimate Windows Tweaker : Feedback & Support. - Windows Vista Help Forum
