Re: Why Does Vista Have So Many Bugs ?

Hello Iki080,

Like any program, there are bound to bugs in it.

Is there a specific problem that you needed help with, or just releasing a bit of steam.

Re: Why Does Vista Have So Many Bugs ?

By not being recognised, do you mean that they are not displaying anything or are they displaying the wrong character (e.g. with English(UK) Shift 2 gives " whereas English(US) it gives @)?
If this is the case, you have the wrong keyboard layout. By default, Vista installs with the US layout. To change this, follow the instructions in this Tutorial: Keyboard Input Language

Hope this helps.

Re: Why Does Vista Have So Many Bugs ?

Which particular keys are you having trouble with, and are they the same for both keyboards? Do the keyboards work on another system?

Re: Why Does Vista Have So Many Bugs ?

Since the keyboards work on another computer, we can eliminate them from the problem. Are you using a hub to connect your keyboard to the computer? Some devices don't work well with hubs, so if possible connect directly to the computer. It is possible that you need to reinstall your motherboard drivers as these also include the USB drivers. If you need help in locating these, can you please let us know more details about your system, specifically the motherboard make and model. Also, what is the make and model of the keyboard that you are using? One thing that you could try - do you have PS2 ports on your computer? If so, and you have a suitable USB to PS2 adapter for your keyboard (should be purple) then try connecting that way.
