Cannot locate printer

I am running Vista Home priemium. And i have my Printer which is Hp Officejet K5400 hooked up into the tower. I have went in and shared it and turned on printer sharing but when i try to find it on my 2 laptop which are running the same vista home premium it will not find anything. I have tried search by IP address and everything. Can someone please help me. I found it fine on my old laptop which was a xp but now that all my computers are running vista its like im running into a road block somewhere. Please help
