Hi Nate,

I'm not familiar with that program, but usually you can boot from the image DVD to restore the drive image to the drive without having to reinstall anything else first.

Looking at their website, it looks like you will have needed to create this first before you can restore the image with a blank drive.

Thanks Brink, I have created the rescue disk. (the linux version) seems like a really good program. They have options to create the image to DVD (it would have taken me about 6), a network computer, or local drive. I created one on a network computer and an external HD. If I need a new HD...after I install it, I should be able use the rescue CD I have that much down. Will I be able to access the network and/or USB external drive to get that data?

PS....Check out this program. It is a VERY nice program. x64 too.

That is a nice little program. I'm not sure about it being able to see a network drive, but it should see a local drive without any problems to get the backup from.
