Got out of safe mode resolution still the same(Minor problem)

Hello all!

So I got out of safe mode (won't be going into details how I got in there in the first place ) but when I restart my computer the resolution only has two options and the highest one isn't the one I previously had it at. Also, I cannot enable the Windows Glass option, all I get is the old Windows XP looking setup when I go to color and options in the personalize place.

Anyone available to help?
Thanks!
~Strikewolf

P.S. Im going on the road so I won't be able to reply for a bit

You'll probably get more graphics settings options when you download and install the latest driver pack from the video card manufacturer.

For example, if it's an ATI card, go to Advanced Micro Devices Inc., download the latest driver, install it, reboot, and you'll have far more control over the resolution, colour depth, and other settings.
