| windows vista ultimate | How do you open a file in media player?!! Hello, I have windows ultimate. I had someone send me a file in Outlook. I've saved the file to my clients folder. Now I want open media player and play the file. I've tried to open files buy it only opens c:\users. I can't seem to find where to open a file an play a file on my c drive.  |

If it is a file extension that Windows Media Player (WMP) supports, you should be able to just double click on the file to have it open and play on WMP automatically. If not, then you can click on Files (menu bar), Open, and browse to the file to open and play it. If you do not have the menu bar in WMP, then right click on a empty space on the toolbar and click on "Show Menu bar". You might also check to make sure that Windows Media Player is set as the default program with all of it's association set to it as well. Hope this helps, Shawn |
