Hi
i recently bought a Vaio fw 285 running a vista 64 bit home premium but due to compatibility issues I would much rather to instal a 32 bit.Since the laptop has come with some factory-installed VAIO applications I was wondering how I could get them back on to the new 32 bit.BTW I've already made the recovery dvds .If I clean instal a vista 32 would the machine instal the vaio stuff upon inserting the dvds or it will go on restoring the old 64 bit all together? My laptop didn't come with any driver or other installation stuff.will I have any driver issues once 32 bit is instaled?

Thanx for your help

Hi mohsen,

Welcome to the Forum.

When you...........

Install Vista 32bit the Vaio bits will be gone but you should be able to download them from the Sony website.

Use the recovery options it will reset your lappy back to how it was when you first got it

You should be able to download all 32 bit drivers from the Sony website before you start (save them to a cd)

Support : Sony

I hope this helps
