jpeg color problem

I received some jpegs and they are all ocean pics. The problem is the ocean is brown/orange and not blue. I then looked at the images on an older windows xp computer and the colors were correct. This is the first time I have experienced this problem with Vista. The Vista computer is less than 6 months old.

forgot to say that if I paste a picture in Microsoft Word the picture color is correct. The problem only happens when I use windows photo gallery to view the images.
