Customizing Windows speech recognition

I'm new to speech recognition, and I'm using it quite a bit (as a matter of fact, I haven't touched my mouse or keyboard at all since I opened firefox, and I'm playing golf on the Wii as I speak XD). I was wondering if anybody knew of any way to customize Windows speech recognition so I can add custom commands.

I must say I'm very impressed with speech recognition. I'm proud to be one of the stubborn first users to insist to use speech recognition even though I've made my computer use extremely comfortable using either the mouse or the keyboard (hopefully soon I can add or speech recognition).

Am I the only using speech recognition? I'm interested to know if there others using speech recognition, and how they're using it.

Hehe. Good job Rapt. I have not gotten around to trying that yet, though I should. Is it any better than Naturally Speaking?

And I like your quote.

I haven't used Naturally Speaking. I'm using WSR because it comes with Vista, and I don't usually buy software. I'm actually started using WSR because I'm looking for speech recognition software for a professor to write articles while she's commuting. The thing is, she uses XP, and as far as I understood there is no speech recognition in XP, only narrator. I guess I'm gonna have to try one of those commercial programs, and suggest she buys it if it's any good. When I do, rest assured I will post back here.

And I like your avatar.

Well you could suggest she try Dragon Naturally Speaking. It is a good program, and customizable. Little on the expensive side, but not much choice there.

Naturally Speaking doesn't have a demo... The one time in my life I find use for a demo...

Anyway, I'm showing her WSP, which I assume should give her a feeling of what it's like to talk to your computer. She doesn't mind the cost. I'm still looking for other WSP users... It doesn't seem like many people find use for it.

It's seems I'm all alone.
