| 32bit vista home premium | Local Session Manager Service I hit control alt delete and logged off my laptop. Now when I try to log back in I can't see my mouse and I get the following response. Local Session manager service failed the logon. The group or resource is not int he correct state to perform the requested operation. Can anyone help? |

| Win7x64 | Re: Local Session Manager Service Can you log on in safe mode or do you get the same error? Is it a domain-joined (work) machine, or your own personal laptop? If you have another machine networked with that one, you can use the event viewer to remotely check the laptop's logged events (maybe, if it's not too pooched). Is the laptop logging any warnings or errors during bootup or when you try to log on? |
