Vista - Weird Vista 64 freeze!!!

Hello guys,
Every time I log in, after a few seconds, this globe-like icon appears on my clock bar, and the bar freezes, including the menu. I can´t open anything, I can´t even change between opened software. The only thing that works is whatever program I´m running, which I can continue to use with no problem, but once I´m done, I have to signout the user to be able to turn it off. I press ctrl+alt+del, and the program administrator opens, but the computer doesn´t let me access it, since it freezes.
I booted in safe mode and disabled everything on start up, still happens.

I´m running Vista x64. can anybody help pleasee?

Try doing a system restore back to before the problem started;

I take it this is something you have installed so maybe try uninstalling from safe mode

If it is nothing that you have installed Maybe a virus/spyware scan from safe mode

Umm i scanned with s&d, removed a couple of stuff but still the problem! i'm sorry i know i suck but i need help

Have you scanned for virus's? or used the other program that I suggested?

I cant help you if you don't even try to help yourself. I also need more information about what has happened, what you have or have not done.

Yes i have scanned with search and destroy that you recomended, the other software wasn't vista 64 compatible in the details. Nothing has changed since i scanned with search and destroy in safe and normal mode. Same icon that freezes the task bar and the whole pc. I log off to counter that problem (leaving a word document open so that it doesnt completley close) the log off closes it, but then it comes back in a while. They cycle completes ...

In safe mode Select Start Menu, give System into Start Search, select System Configuration, select the Services tab put a tick in Hide all Microsoft services select disable all select ok and restart

mbam is compatible you can use it do you not have a virus scanner?
