windows error

hello lads ..
newbie to the fourm we all start some were i guess ...
i had this error message come up i think i had virus ...me anti-virus detected it ..
any ideas how to fix it...as far know it has not effected anything as such or stop anything from working it comes up when i start the laptop any advice given will be greatful for :)

Did your anti virus tell you what it was? I agree that it appears virus / spyware related

I have found this link extremely helpful with similar looking issues, plus it looks like you already have a couple of the "cleaning products" they mention

i tell you what it was mate my cusion was downloading sh*t off torrent sites stupid to let him do it i know and all this black screens come up then it went off then that comes up now but i have dealted u-torrent & stuff i gone through with programmes i have got nothing .mm i will have look thanks mate lesson lernt ,,,,((NEVER TOUCH TORRENT SITE AGAIN)) THANKS FOR YOUR TIME:D

Torrent sites can be good for what they are, but I guess there are tell-tale signs of what not to download and run! :shock:

i cleaned it from top to buttom done alot house work but i was in the system32 folder there was folder that was highlight in light blue so i took the chance n dealted it ....and now its gone i restarted and allsorts runs perfect thanks for help mate..everywun banned from it now sept me :D that was lucky

me too having the same problem as like Noddsta had instead of that i'm having the path as "C:\Users\<my user name>\AppData\Local\Temp\geBrrOgD.dll"

what to do to fix it.... please help me...

what i done is mate ...
is run me anti virus...
ccleaner..
defragged ..
and went cleaned my machine up..
restarted..
was still there soo i went to were it was located...
there was folder that was highlighted light blue soo took risk and delated it...
and it has not come up sincce...
hope this helps mate ...
tryed google it mate might help you there ?

if not take one then people can try work on it for you..
or just type what the error is ?

Saaracute, try following the instructions in the link quoted above. This leads you down the path of more thorough cleaning, and involves more than simply running a virus scan. It does a far deeper scan / fix than off-the-shelf anti virus products, and it's not uncommon to have to use multiple products

I've attached is my error message... see there the error is coming only in my login's temp folder... also i noted that this is coming only during my login... if i go through some of my sister's login, its not coming.... so i decided that if its not corrected even though i did those scans, i'm planning to delete my user id and re create it again.... thank u again... now i going to do scan from that link....

well after you scanned it and stuff mate lets us know how you got see if it solved problem if not ...we will have to look into more about it mate..
thats ok mate i allwise here to help others when i can :)

ccleaner/Quicksys RegCleaner 2009 are good :)
