clock interrupt secondary processor oXooooo101

Hi,

I am new to this forum and yet already in desperate need of some help. I have been building computers for a while now and have not had any problems so far that I could not solve. Now I don't know where to start. I have purchased the following items:
VISTA Home premium 64BIT service pack 1
PSU APEVIA(ASP)|ATX-CW500WP4 RT
HD 320G|Western digital 7K 16M SATA2 WD3200AAKS
mainboard ASUS M3A78-EM AM2+ 780G/SB700 RT
Kingston KHX8500D2T1K2/8G R
CPU AMD|Phenom H X4 9600 2.3GHz 65N R

Now when I try to install the vista 64 bit I get the famous BSOD! Mostly with the error message I stated in the title. I dont know what to do. Does anyone have any information for me?? I heard that one hVISTA HM PREM SP1 64BIT 1PK

CPU AMD|Phenom H X4 9600 2.3GHz 65N Rast to disable the TBL patch in the BIOS in order for this to work. I do not know where to diable this patch on my mainboard. Do I need to update my BIOS? With what version??

Can you tell us the stop code on the BSOD? This will help pinpoint the problem.

Well, I can see your problem. Looks like a bad processor
"The specified processor is not processing interrupts. Typically, this occurs when the processor is nonresponsive or is deadlocked."

That is what I thought at first too. I have found out that very many people have been having this problem with these processors and vista 64 bit. There has got to be a way to get it to run. How can I disable the TBL patch?

Are you sure you heard "TBL" and not "TLB"?

TLB stands for Translation Lookaside Buffer, which makes some sense in this context, so you might have more luck searching the AMD forums based on that acronym.
