problem with shortcut create an association
If I download acrobat reader a few short cuts shows the acrobat ,it i click , it tells me Create an association in the Set Associations contole panel .What is the process.

You might try a smaller alternative to Adobe.
Foxit Reader is free and popular and will ask to set itself as default.
The free version is on the left in this link

As a test, click on the lnk item in the table at this website, and download and merge the reg file there to restore the default shortcut associations.
