Computer running real slow

hello all...
just little problem i have here...
laptop was perfect earlyer...
i switched it on its took half hour to get here..
running slow saying windows can responed and stuff...
is there reason why this could be..
i have no download or installed anything new :confused:
just dont understand its real slow ?

hold ctrl and alt then hit delete under processes see if anything is hogging your cpu , if anything there is maxing it out or high usage let us know what it is
