Windows Vista Fast But Jerky

I just put my vista back on and it fast but i get a lot of jerkyness i'm thinking it's a video driver.

What could it be i have animation when windows open and close and it tad jerky at times.

It's fast but the windows opering and closing jump and it's not smoth motion.

try uninsalling display adapters in device manager cos it deffo sounds like graphics problem then reboot

I installed the old verson of the drivers since im using a 8600GT while i save up for a new GTX285.
