Ok first my setup:
Gateway P-6860FX Laptop
Vista Home Premium x64
4-port powered USB hub
1TB WD External USB HDD
Blackberry Curve 8320 w/ storage mode enabled
USB mouse
USB keyboard
Second, my problem.
When I insert a flash drive into the laptop's usb port, Vista stops responding. Everything freezes. The instant I pull the flash drive out, everything pops back into action and unfreezes immediately. I'm not sure if its due to the number of devices I have plugged in but I don't see why. The problem isn't the flash drive itself because I plugged in another cell phone that has a 1GB micro SD card with storage mode enabled and it does the same thing there.
