HELP! Startup Repair

Can someone help me with my problem. I've been experiencing this problem for 2 weeks now. Almost every other day while I'm doing something with my laptop, surfing the net or typing something on ms word, my laptop just shutsdown and then when I try to turn it on again, it shutsdown immediately. I usually wait for a few minutes before I turn it on again and then I start the windows startup repair. And after it attempts the repair it says that Windows Cannot Repair Automatically. How do I fix this problem? Help!

Here's the problem details.

You may also want to think seriously about backing up your data and re-installing Vista. Have you used reg cleaners?

I haven't tried diagnostics and reg cleaners. I'm not really that good with computers. Sorry. Should I post what I've done here? I mean, there are private information written there right?
