USB lock application

Hello, again

I have another problem :sarc:

i have got this usb drive that i have had for a while know and it came with this lock application (download link BTW)
Some how that got deleted from the usb so i copied it over from the CD again and now i get a message saying that there is no USB drive inserted,(though it is running from the usb itself.)
i have dried going through disk management and it shows only the unlocked partition (like 300kb) but not the rest of the locked 1GB :cry:

i have also tried using diskpart in cmd to see if that will even pick up the locked partition but it also won't :mad:

we cannot just format it as my dad has his resume on it and needs it ASAP:eek:

any help will be appreciated!:D

The site which you linked to seems, uh, not particularly interesting. It doesn't seem to be the original source of the "lock" executable. If you know anything else about that utility (who wrote it, when, where, what it's meant to do...), I'd suggest you pose the question in that direction - "how the heck do I deactivate this thing?!?"

Otherwise, it would be necessary to somehow reverse-engineer and hence defeat what is presumably a "locking" mechanism. If the author knew her business, I don't like your chances.

that link is just my site and has nothing to do with the tool i am just hosting the tool there for people to look at the file.

this is Welcome to Shintaro the site of the usb brand and where u can get the app from (but mine came on a cd)
