| Vista Home Premium x64 | Vista64 Not Using All Ram Hello For the longest time I was using 8gb of pc6400 ram. Well I just decided to bump up my memory to pc8500. However, for some reason Windows is only allowing me to use 3gb of my ram instead of the full 4gb. Anyone have an idea why? This is what system information says: Quote: OS Name Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Home Premium Version 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1 Build 6001 Other OS Description Not Available OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation System Name KARL-PC System Manufacturer EVGA__ System Model nForce 750i SLI System Type x64-based PC Processor Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz, 3000 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s) BIOS Version/Date Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG, 8/12/2008 SMBIOS Version 2.5 Windows Directory C:\Windows System Directory C:\Windows\system32 Boot Device \Device\HarddiskVolume1 Locale United States Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "6.0.6001.18000" User Name Karl-PC\Karl Time Zone Central Daylight Time Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB Total Physical Memory 3.00 GB Available Physical Memory 1.84 GB Total Virtual Memory 2.91 GB Available Virtual Memory 1.67 GB Page File Space 0 bytes Any information would be appreciated. |

If so it's in the Northbridge section, and this will remap any overlapped graphics memory back to the system. |
