Vista - netio.sys stop error

on a vista laptop (acer) i get the following: everything works fine, both wireless and rj45 internet conection work fine. i've updated everything and scanned for viruses.thing is, that when surfing for too long at some pages or when typing a few specific pages (bitefight) the pc crashes too a BSOD. it is odd! i've tried yahoo,google,gmail tons of sites and nothing happens! heck even surfing into known sites with viruses, spam, porn, trojans and other "goodies" and nothing happens. as soon as i type (bitefight.gr for example) the page appears and then BSOD.BSOD contents:stop errors 0x0000007E,0xC0000005,0x8b28c0a6,0x8be37b74,0x8be37870 file NETIO.SYS address 8b28C0a6 base at 8b267000.some indicate access violation i know.googling the rest, i can find nothing other than a few hotfixes that don't "fit" my problem perfectly....some suggest updating bios.is it true?

Uninstall your anti-virus as a test. The fact that the crash happens consistently but exclusively on some websites suggests interference from a filter driver - either the AV or a 3rd-party firewall.

already tried the antivirus....
neil, i've read that yesterday.this is what i meant with fixes that don't exactly "fit"...

If you zip up and upload (here) a few of the latest DMP files from \windows\minidump on your machine, someone may be able to tell you why the machine is crashing.

To zip them up, you'll have to first copy them to another (less restricted) location on your disk.
