Ctrl Panel/Personalizations/ScreenSavers. No response

Clicking screensaver, or any other constituents of Personalization, brings no response. The "hand" icon doesn't do anything regardless of which item it is pointed at. Very frustrating as I particularly seek to review my screensaver choices already installed.

Will appreciate info as to cause/cure. Thank you.

Does it make any difference if you access it by clicking an empty spot on the desktop and making the choice from there?

Appreciate prompt response but the answer is there is no effect wherever on that screen I click. Returned to it now just to make sure that's the case.

Is this a new problem or one frequently encountered? I find no applicable references here or elsewhere (FAQs, etc.)
