Transferring OEM Vista to New MB

My wife has an Emachine that came with Vista Home Ultimate.

I am wanting to upgrade her motherboard, CPU and RAM to something with a little more heft.

I realize I will have to install Windows fresh when I put in the new setup (just a personal rule of mine), but will we be able to transfer the Vista license over to the new setup?

I also realize that I'll probably have to call Microsoft on this one since it's pretty much all new hardware.

I've had to reinstall Vista by hand on her machine before and had no issues activating using the key that was on the label on the back of the box.
