Solved Help needed wih new hard drive.

Hi guys.

I have put a new hard drive in my case, just for a bit of extra storage.

It is set to a slave drive but when it is plugged in and i start my computer vista wont boot.

I am stumped with this one.

Any ideas people?

Hello Rossy,

You might check in BIOS to make sure that the hard drive that your Vista is installed on is still listed in the boot priority list. If it is, then you might see if running a Startup Repair on the Vista drive can fix this for you.
