Digital Camera will not run Autoplay options

I have a new Vista box that will recognize my Digital Camera (Canon SD700), but will not run autoplay. When the camera is plugged in, it does appear in the Scanners/Cameras list, and if I run Explorer I can drill down into the memory chip, but it will not prompt me to do anything. I have changed the Autoplay options to Import Pictures using Windows, and View Pictures using Windows, but neither worked. I have also read other posts and do not have the key "NoDriveTypeAutoRun".

It seems as if you’ve done all the right things, but please check out this help page from Microsoft on the subject: A digital still camera is not recognized in Windows Vista or in Windows XP.

If you’re still having problems, I’d suggest contacting the support page: Please Verify your Location.

Cheers,
