    Twin monitor oddness

Greetings - i've finally taken the plunge and gone Vista after many yeras of XP. I've got something odd happening with my setup. I run 2 screens 4x3 on the left and 16x9 on the right running in a dualview mode, and i use an application that opens fully maximized accross both screens. Until yesterday i was running in "classic xp windows mode" but decided that i should try the aero thing out, only to find that the said application now starts up with a small border along the right hand side and along the bottom. The application thinks it's maximized as the window is locked in position and if i minimize and then maximize again the application spans both windows correctly. If i switch to Vista Basic instead of Aero it works as it should, so there something in the aero setup that giving me ths odd border.

I know there are a few threads regarding maximized window problems bu tnone of them seem to match my specific case.

Any clues anyone might have would be much appreciated.

    cheers,

    Hackney.

    Re: Twin monitor oddness

Just to answer my own question in case anyone else has a similar issue, i never found what caiused it specifically, but i managed to rectify it by switching the dualview off and running one monitor, and then switching dual view back on - and now it behaves..... wierd.
