I use winamp and have done for the last year but must admit i dont like it. Every skin for it is pretty ugly and with every new update it seems less stable. Is there a comprehensive list somewhere of music players.

well it didnt happened before... so i was just wondering maybe some software issues or someth'n... i had the old skul winamp xD... yeh its outdated... but ive been using it evr since...and still love it...probably time to move on... :(

It could be because some files are corrupted. Before you reinstall or update winamp go to

C:\Users\whatever your name is\AppData\Roaming\Winamp\Plugins\ml

Once in that folder delete [FONT=verdana, arial, helvetica]"recent.dat" and "recent.idx" then run winamp. That might fix your problem but if not then you may have to reinstall winamp.
