i386 Folder

I read that it is a good idea to copy the i386 Folder to the C drive.Could you please explain the reasons for doing so, if you agree it makes sense, and tell me where to find the folder. (Sorry, I can't remember where I read about this, but believe it was in the context of using the SFC /SCANNOW command).

My OS is Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

You help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and regards,
Roy Whitethread

Re: i386 Folder

Hi royw,

It might be a good idea if you were running XP - to stop it from asking for the installation disc.

Looks like you are running Vista.

Hope it helps
