I wouldd be happy if anyone tell me about logon as batch job. I want to gain more about a batch job.

If a particular user account has the "Log on as a batch job" (LBJ) right, its credentials can be leveraged to start a scheduled task in that context. Without LBJ, the account cannot authenticate a scheduled task irrespective of its group memberships.

LBJ is one of several rights that can be used to limit accounts by the type of activity: log on locally (interactive logon), access across the network (SMB file & print access), log on through TS...

It's then possible to combine those rights into any arbitrary matrix. For example:

- ALLOW log on through TS
- DENY access across the network
- DENY interactive logon
- DENY log on as a batch job

If that's not enough info, you should try to clarify the background behind your question :)

In this context, a "batch job" is synonymous with a scheduled task. "Log on as a scheduled task" would be less anachronistic. It's the objects you see when you run SCHTASKS from the command prompt.

(At the risk of muddying the waters, nowadays a "job" in Windows actually means something quite different [a bunch of processes grouped together in a particular way], so a "batch job" is doubly ambiguous.)
