mysterious user.V2 directory

Alright, this is bugging the crap out of me! I don't think it's causing any real problems, but it sure is annoying. A mysterious (well, to me, anyway) user directory keeps showing up on my machine. This just started a few months ago... I know the machine is clean but each time i delete the directory it reappears...just not instantly. it is always my user name plus ".V2". So my user directory "Dustin" appears as it should and then there will also be "Dustin.V2". What in the world? Surely this is just some setting i don't realize is turned on, but i can't get it to stop! It's large too, the last time i think 13GB or near that. So its not a complete copy, but ... AND, this does not happen to my wife's user account.

Any body know what this is or how to get rid of it??

THANKS!
