Desktop Clean-Up Wizard

I've searched for this and from practically everything I've read says this wasn't carried over from XP.

There is a post on here where a person says this can be done 'manually', then they don't go on to say how this is done!

Is it as simple as creating a folder and just moving some of the icons into this folder?

Re: Desktop Clean-Up Wizard

Hello Plls,

Yes, you would just manually create a new folder in your C:\Users\(user name)\Desktop folder to drag and drop the shortcuts that you do not want to currently use and would like to restore later in the new folder.

You can also just check and uncheck the default desktop icons to add and remove them.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
