| Vista Home Premium x64 | My computer will not sleep! Please help! I have an HP desktop running Vista Home Premium 64 bit and every time I try to put it to sleep, it appears as if it will sleep, but bounces back to life after a few seconds. My sleep options are set for "allow computer to sleep when..." And I'm allowing my computer to sleep under any circumstances. I have all the current HP and Vista updates installed and my drivers are all up to date. Please help me find a solution that I may have missed. Thanks guys.  |

Hello Trevolution11, You might go through the items in the tutorial below to see if it may be able to help you find the culprit that is waking up your computer. A usual culprit is the "Allow to wake computer" option for the network adapter Power Management settings in Device Manager. Power Options and Sleep Mode Problems Hope this helps, Shawn |
