204 KB Temporary File Won't Delete

When I run Disk Cleanup, there's a 204 KB file that shows up under Temporary files, and Disk Cleanup won't get rid of it. For me, it's kind of like swatting flies at a picnic, it irritates me...

From what I've read here on Vista Forums, I'm not the only person who has this issue...

My question is ... is this something I should be concerned about? Or, can I just leave it alone and forget about and go on about my merry-way?

My laptop runs fine, no viruses, worms, scumware or other irritants were found when I ran a scan - the laptop is clean...

I'm just thinking...maybe it's one of the personality defects Windows Vista is known for?

I suggest to use to clear TEMP any external program for example CCleaner - Home

If you use x64 system the better way to use any commercial tool

It might just be a 'Stuck' file.
Usually I got these and I just leave them, windows might be using them.

Hello KuyaDan, and welcome to Vista Forums.

By default Disk Cleanup cannot delete the Temporary Files unless they have not been accessed in 7 days. This will show you how to change that so Disc Cleanup can delete them anyway.

This will help show you how to manually clear the temp files, but CCleaner may be easier to use instead though.

Hope this helps,
