| Vista Home Premium 32bit (x86) | Re: what is your temp? I'm freakin' out Yeah, I'm sure that your temperatures are well in the safe zone for laptops. My temperature on here is always above 40 C and usually is around 48 C when I am doing nothing at all... I have a full sidebar and three gadgets on my desktop too, but my CPU usage is like idk, 4% and it still runs hot. When I'm gaming, it's not unusual for my laptop to top 60 C easy - I think that it just doesn't have enough fans, because 99% of the time, it gets plenty of air. I've even had it shut off forcefully by itself at the hardware level because the temperature got above 80 or 85 C... man it's weird sometimes. (I'm not really sure if that reading was accurate or not - it showed super high temps, but the laptop was not as hot as it usually was... weird, right?) My desktop usually runs about 35 C, but if I kick on all the fans on high, I can cool it right on down - my laptop fan I can't control because SpeedFan doesn't support my motherboard . Well I think that I've ranted enough - that's all from me for now. Oh, and by the way - I would post screenshots, but I'm waaaay too lazy ![]() -TD9175 |

| Vista Home Basic 32bit | Re: what is your temp? I'm freakin' out hello: ---well I downloaded the 'Speed-Fan' program - and it shows 45`C--- ---then I downloaded the 'CPUID' program also - and it shows 25`C--- ---I use a laptop, and it does get warm, over hours of use, but I tend to place it between my knees (cross-legged) to allow air to cool the bottom--- ---COFFEE---ANYONE---???---peace Last edited by K1K1D33; 06-03-2009 at 06:47 PM.. |
