Back up

I hope this is in the correct spot please forgive me if it is not. I just have to pull everyones ear for a bit and ask if it is worth the $$$ to either invest in something like Mozy or just buy another ext drive for my backups? The prob is I have alot of Picts that I have on my HD and I dont want them to get lost as most of them I can not retake due to some of the people in the photo being deceased. Any help would be gratefull or if someone could suggest another program or something to help with my delima.

I would suggest an External Harddrive that you encrypt with TrueCrypt. This will be the most secure way. You can connect it to the computer everytime before you are about to shutdown/log off, and you can back it up...
This will be better then programs or internet sites because you will PHYSCIALLY have the files. Not hope that they are erased if the site you are using is hacked/crashes...
